Draft for review · 25 October 2026

This preview document is not a final launch policy. Batch’s legal operator, contact details and the outstanding items below must be confirmed before public launch.

What the preview stores

Batch uses your email address to sign you in with a one-time code and to associate records with your workspace. It stores the bakery details you enter, recipes, ingredient costs, photos, orders, customer contact details, pickup notes, payment records, checklists, pantry quantities and trial dates. Batch does not use passwords and does not collect card details.

Why this information is used

Your records are used to load your bakery, save changes, calculate estimates, generate baking plans and shopping lists, track your trial, and provide exports and recovery versions. Account checks restrict access to records belonging to the signed-in owner.

Only enter customer details you are authorised to record. Avoid sensitive information in order notes and use sample customer details while testing the preview.

Service providers and storage

The preview uses Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, sign-in, database storage and uploaded files. These providers process information needed to operate their services. The operator must confirm relevant provider terms, hosting locations and any overseas disclosures before finalising this policy; Australian-only storage is not promised.

Browser storage

The separate demo stores sample orders in your browser. Session storage remembers the trial invitation’s timer and dismissal. Clearing browser storage can remove these local settings and demo orders, but does not delete your saved bakery records. The hosting and sign-in services also manage their own sessions.

Access, correction and export

Sign in to view and edit your bakery records. Bakery settings includes a complete export of current records and attached photos. Recovery versions can restore earlier information. Signing out does not delete stored records.

Retention and deletion

The app keeps up to 30 recent recovery snapshots per account. Older photo files can remain stored to support recovery. Expiry of a trial does not automatically delete the workspace. A complete deletion process and retention schedule are not yet available and must be defined before public launch.

Questions and privacy requests

The operator’s identity, privacy contact, complaint-handling process and response arrangements are pending confirmation. The Contact us page will list the confirmed channel once connected. This draft should not be treated as a completed production privacy policy.
